Many of the participants attending a Saturday event have experienced or are in midst of difficult times. Many would never walk in the doors of a church to attend a service. Working together with the body of a church to create a welcoming environment for participants to engage in a comfortable way has proven to be a highly effective way to reach the community.
When executed well, churches have been able to engage with participants through meeting their basic needs with the love of Christ and see them return the following day for service! Our greatest joy is when we learn a family has returned to experience more of God’s love because their experience intrigued them and made them feel safe!
